Although most all of America is celebrating Halloween – I like to say: “Happy 488th Birthday!”
You might wonder what I am celebrating – well the Reformation of the Christian faith of course.
Today, on October 31st 1517, Martin Luther nailed his famous Ninety-Five Theses onto the door of the Wittenberg Church. So celebrate with me…
You didn’t know this, but I attended Lutheran School when I was in the 5th, 6th and 7th grades.
Thus, I know that Martin Luther’s birthday is November 10th.
He and I share that birthdate. 🙂
(And we don’t celebrate Halloween in my household.) 😉
You see, in Germany they haven’t celebrated Halloween for the longest time, but my mom told me that they have started a couple of years ago…Makes me very say… 🙁
