Laurel’s cousin Michael is on his way to Lativia. Would you please lift him up in your prayers? He is a fellow ‘Arizonian’…Isn’t it wonderful that God is raising up young people to carry His message around the world? Here is what Michael has to say about his mission:
“My role in Lativia will be working with youth and training youth leaders. I will work in local church youth groups, host summer camps, mentor Latvian youth workers, and work for a Latvian youth organization run by J.V. missionaries there.”
You can also visit Michael’s blog and leave him encouraging comments ๐
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, รขโฌลYour God reigns.รขโฌย ~ Isaiah 52:7 (ESV)
Blessings on your day and as always…
Have I made awesome blog friends or what! Girl thank you so much. I am so proud of my cousin, I want the world to know. And what a blessing you are to help me spread the word.
Iris, thanks for stopping by yesterday. I am sorry that you do not have any friends locally. I hate that for you. Sandy
My band is putting that very verse to music, Iris. It still needs work, but the Lyricist did a perfect job with the words, don’t you think?
Thanks for lifting Michael up.
It warms my heart to hear of young people getting out there in the world and sharing the gospel. Good for him!
Awesome, awesome, awesome! My brother is currently in Bible College for preacher training. He was called to preach at 16 years of age. God is definitely still at work in the lives of young men and women!!
It is just wonderful to hear how your brother is serving the Lord. Is he single? I have a 19 year old daughter that works in Awana and sings special at our church. She has been saved for many years. : )
Wonderful of you to take a moment and put this up. I am sure Laurel is thrilled. hope your break is going well. I seem to be on a mini break myself, unintentionally. The work is piling up!
This is so sweet that you posted about it. You can’t have too many people praying for those who are God’s hands and feet abroad. This is precious, and so many will be blessed by the privilege of carrying Michael before the throne of grace. Have a blessed weekend!
Mission trips are so fantastic. I will pray for Michael- that God will open his heart and fill it with the thoughts and love that God has for these people. I took a mission trip to San Salvador last year during their elections. It was a wild trip the two main parties were the communists and the regulars. The communists won. Apart from that is was amazing how open their hearts were to the love of God.
It was nice of you to post this. (I saw it over at Laurel’s too.) This young person will go far in God.
I love that verse. We used to sing a praise song to it at our old church. I can still remember the tune… “Our God reigns.” (Hear it?) Have a wonderful weekend. :~)
