Have you ever gotten an email, you wanted to share with the world. I did, today…I want to share this one with you, because it put a smile on my face this morning. I tell you after I share the email, why I smiled and why it gave me a boost this morning.
Has anyone ever told you how good you are at your job? You are amazing — always on top of things and so competent and hard-working. If no one ever told you, I’m telling you now how much I appreciate you and all the work you do and the patience you have, as well as being so God-fearing. You are a wonderful testimony to your faith and I know our church office couldn’t operate without you.
I am proud to count you as my friend and mentor.
God bless you always,
You see, I didn’t feel very well this morning (my tummy acted up once again, as so often in the last year). I actually contemplated to stay home, but then again, that wouldn’t be me…But what really tickled my fancy was, that this person said “God-fearing” & “testimony to your faith”. I often wonder if I share Christ’s love with others and I often pray that I want to be more like Him. This email gave me the confidence that Christ is working in and through me. How wonderful to know that others see Him in me…
So, if you have someone in your life that builds you up, let them know.
In His grip,
Eph2810
What a lovely e-mail to receive. If people would just build one another up rather than tear each other down, the world would be so much happier and more productive. Thank you for sharing this. I often wonder if I share enough of my faith as well. I truly hope others see the light of Christ through my life.
Thank you Seawave for stopping by. I appreciate it.
You have always been a testimony to me of your faith. You are always there to guide me, and when I think about a person I would like to be like you are always the person that I think of. I see Christ in you in the way you live your life and I am blessed to have you as my best friend.
I don’t know why this is touching to me right now, but now I have tears in my eyes. Thank you my wonderful friend…:)
Knowing what I know, that e-mail was well deserved. How much greater the productivity and contentment in the secular AND Christian workplace would be if such encouraging words were common. Though Christian, God still says we need encouragement. May such e-mails become more regular.
Awesome! 😀 I’m so glad somebody uplifted you like that.
