As I was reading my Bible this morning, this song came to mind:

I have heard this song so many times; on the radio and in worship (actually I am listening to it right now as I am writing this post, sung by Newsong) I sing this song from the bottom of my heart and it gets me every time. Tears flow because He has given His life for mine.
As so often I wanted to write something totally different, but as I was praying, God put the song in my head and on my heart – and I believe that someone needed to hear about Jesus’ Amazing Love! Read over the words again and let them sink into your heart. Meditate on His sacrifice for you. Jesus has given us a new, eternal life with the Father – because of the His great sacrifice. Sometimes I forget what He went through to give me this life.
So, how can I reflect His great love for me? I can reach out to my brothers and sisters in faith when they are in distress. I can point them to the Cross to find the comfort they need. I can live a life that glorifies Him and reach out to the lost in the world. I can share His Amazing Love for all people. Yes, God is a God of justice, but I truly believe that His love is much greater than His need for justice. Yes, He wants us to repent and turn to Him for new life. But He wants us to share the same amazing love He has shown to us, who are His followers already. Let us reach out to the ones who still search for this Amazing Love and a new, eternal life with Him.
