Check out the Chick’s Carnival today. The theme is: Love of Blogging. You all have a blessed Sunday.
Happy Surfing…
Yes, the August issue of Christian Women Online is out. It is a wonderful on-line magazine for women of all ages. As Darlene puts it:
“This month, CWO offers some wonderful articles on both renewing the old, and starting things new. As we take a look at our interior lives and start making some room for a change.”
CWO also has wonderful information about books or Digi Scrapbooking. I am sure you can find something that will suit your interests.
Speaking of digital Scrapbooking, my friend Jamie just released her on-line Scrapbooking blog, called DigiScraps. You might want to check it out. Great layouts and wonderful pictures .
Are you in need of a few good laughs? Visit Polly’s blog “Life is a Buffet“. Polly sure has a gift to take every not so good situation with a smile. But what I like most about her blog; she always ends with Scripture. Very refreshing.
Check out Heather’s new Health Blog, called “Lively Women“. Wonderful information and a wonderful writer ~ what could be better?
Need another great visit? Check out E-Mom’s blog “Chrysalis“. She has always great topics to ponder.
Would like to meet up with Christian bloggers in October? Check out Carol’s blog and get the details on the get-together in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
Hope I gave you some ‘happy surfing’ links. Have a blessed Friday .
Just the Two Of Us…
Most of my readers know our favorite vacation spot. Of course it is San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico…
For one thing, it is a place where we can drive to from the Metro Phoenix area. Sure it takes 8 hours to get there, but so does San Diego ~ or any place with a water front. You say, why don’t you fly? Well, I am not much for flying ~ just don’t care for it. The only time you’ll see me getting on to a plane is when flying home to Germany. Or someone from a travel Website or magazine would give us a free trip to Bali .
My favorite things about San Carlos are the beach, the sunsets and undisturbed time with my hubby. No phone, no TV…just the two of us.
If you like simple, clean hotels, than Paradiso Resort is for you. The ocean view rooms are reasonably priced or you could even book a special…No, this is not an advertisement …I just really enjoy going there.
For me, this place is a slice of heaven and where I can admire God’s creation. The sunsets seem like paintings…Well, in a sense they are ~ God’s evening paintings…
Do you have a favorite spot you like to retreat to? Or are you vacations all about adventure? For me, vacations are a time to refuel, to relax and live into the day….
Check out all the other entries to the Chick’s Carnival this week. The theme? Favorite Things. Thanks Michele for all the work you put into this carnival every week! ~ Y’all have a blessed Sunday.
Not Speechless Today
Not because I am out pictures, no I have plenty to share, believe me. Because I want to share more than just a picture today. You see, today, author Mary E. DeMuth is giving us the honor to host the Carnival of Beauty. Check out all the wonderful entries over at Relevantblog what women think about the Beauty of Blogging.
Next week’s carnival is hosted right here at Sting My Heart. I hope that you allow me to host your entry about the Beauty of Philippians. As I have stated many times, Philippians is my favorite Epistle. And some of my readers who know me a little more, know that Philippians 4:13 is my life’s motto…
Also, today I am sharing a couple of thoughts about sharing our faith over at Blogging with CWO. Hope you have some time to stop by.
Have a blessed day .
