Sting my Heart goes WP

If you visited Eph2810 Thursday evening and encountered problems… I apologize, I was messin’ around with her stuff. She is now up and running on WordPress. Blogger is behind her! Yay! Welcome her site to WP, won’t you?

Her buddy,
TNC

And it looks great – thanks a million. Now I just have to add the categories. You already have done the ‘blogroll’ as a page .

Guess Who?

I was in total shock yesterday when I opened my Inbox for my ‘blog email’. Guess who left a comment on my blog? No other than Darlene Schacht, the founder of Christian Women Online. Now that made my day .

Have you been to their website yet? It is great! Please do check it out. CWO also has a contest going: “The Father’s Heart“. You can win $100. I sure will enter this contest and try to win (but then again, there are better writers out there than I ever will be – lol). You know, this would be such a great contest for me to win, because me dad was a huge influence on me. He was a godly man and taught me the true values of life. I just wish he would be still around. He passed away at the age of 52 on March 23, 1991 – so almost 15 years ago. He would turn 68 this year *sigh*.
Oh, I am so sorry, I totally got sidetracked here. So, check out the contest for yourself and the rest of the Christian Women Online website.

Darlene has also her own blog, called “What Would Jesus Blog” – check it out. You also can find her link in My Personal Reads…

Have a blessed Friday night ~ Eph2810

Carnival, New Links and Some Updates

I know it is kind of late today, but my day just slipped through my fingers. This week, nine women met at Chel’s place for the carnival. This week’s topic: friendship! Check out all the wonderful posts Chel at Chasing Contentment has put together. Chel also mentioned that this week is International Friendship Week. Let your friends know that they are a blessing to you. There are several means to do so; you can call or just simply send them an ecard

Today I would like to highlight three new blog/sites I discovered this past week:

  • Meet Stormii at Present Storm. She is a lady from Houston, Texas. I enjoyed her post from yesterday: Wife Swap??!!. Also, she has a follow-up appointment tomorrow – so keep her in your prayers. Why don’t you stop by her blog and see what she is blogging about. And while you are there, leave a comment or two…
  • The second blog I want to introduce to you is Unicorn Child. Chrixean is pregnant with her second child and she is has some difficulties. She could use some encouragement from you…
  • The third blog I just discovered this morning. Her name is Shilo and she does some beautiful work with gourds – yup gourds. You have to see them…They are magnificent! Thank you Jane for hosting Shilo’s blog Artful Visions Studio this week…

And for the updates:

  • True Blue Semi-Crunchy Mama is still looking for a host/hostess for Thankful Thursdays. If you need more information regarding Thankful Thursday send an email to True Blue…
  • Last week I posted a link to Shutter Junkie and I thought the owner of the blog is male. Come to find out it is a she…*blush*. But I already apologized to Jem
  • Just a personal note: I have been so busy the last couple of days that I haven’t visited my usual blogs, so I want to apologize. There is just not enough time for everything. I’ll be better next week – I hope….

I want to leave you with a German Proverb that my on-line friend Heather emailed to me:

“Begin to weave and God will give you the thread.”

Well Now – that is Just too Funny…

Your Linguistic Profile:

55% General American English
20% Yankee
15% Dixie
5% Midwestern
5% Upper Midwestern

I saw the quiz this morning on Heather’s blog (what you haven’t been there?). I think that is just too funny, especially if you know my background. I guess I ‘hang-out’ with a bunch of different people and pick-up their ‘slang’ *grin*. So, what American English do you speak?

Thank you for updating my Johari Window…If you haven’t had the chance would you take a few minutes and pick 5 words that you think describe me ~ Sting My Heart’s Window
