Salt River

…and you thought that I post another picture from San Carols 😀 . I thought I’d give you something different this time. This river is in our ‘back-yard’ (technically). Anything within a 30 minuted driving distance is…The Salt River actually runs water pretty much all year long–the currents can get quite strong too. Many use the river to go ‘tubing’ and cool off when we hit the 115’s.

What can I say – I am a coffee “junkie”. I pretty much drink it all day long until about 6pm…As you can see, my coffee-cup reflects all kinds of coffees. My favorite are flavored coffees 😛

Since it is St. Patrick’s Day in the US, I thought I use this little clover frame to present my coffee mug to you…

Berliner Innerhof

I thought that I share with you a little more about my home country. I took this picture when visiting Berlin in 2004. These are apartment buildings that are set in a square. They have a common courtyard. This particular building houses a Starbucks (yeah – they are even present in Germany). They have tables and chairs set-up in this courtyard. The buildings were restored after Germany was united in 1991…

I tell you, I really miss the architecture of Europe. We don’t have much ‘old’ stuff here in the Metro Phoenix area, since it is a fairly ‘young’ state…

What can I say? I just couldn’t resist to share with you my favorite place on earth–once again. I love the beach–I love San Carlos…I hope that my Sweetheart and I can make it down there this year. Never got to go last year…You wondering how this fits with this week’s hunt theme. Well, of course – the water is salty 😛
