Thankful Thursday ~ All About Grace

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. ~ Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV)

Before I share my thankfulness with you this week, I would like to thank Crystal, Laurel and Lynn for hosting Thankful Thursday for me the past 3 months. Wow – the time went fast. I am glad to be back blogging. I missed it, but also got some things cleared up in my hear about blogging…

Now to my short thankful list this week: All About Grace (grace is defined as ‘unmerited favor’ either of God or from one to another. Isn’t His grace beautiful?

  • I am thankful that He was pierced for my transgressions. That His grace saved me – not for what I have done, but what He has done at the cross…

  • I am thankful with a dear friend of mine. I just love when God shows up when we least expect it. The joy is indescribables…

  • I am thankful that God allows me to share what He has done for me and that it sometimes touches someone. Thank You, Lord…

  • I am thankful that His grace is never-ending. I have messed up so many times in my life – big and small, He still loves me…

  • I am thankful for the times my friend have extended grace to me over the years…

  • I am thankful that my Sweetheart extends grace when I mess up things or just plain forget. I can’t believe that he has stuck with me for almost 25 years…

Thankful Thursday ~ Delight

Wozaa! I almost forgot that tomorrow is already Thursday. How cool is that! Well, here is my thankful list for this week:

  • I am thankful that the Lord keeps interrupting my day to pray for others. It is so cool how He puts names in my head and I start praying for them…way cool!

  • I am thankful for the girls at Laced with Grace. I know I have said it before, but I just want to share it again. If you think that all of them are volunteers – sharing their wisdom, passion and love with others without compensation – Lord you are good. Thank you for bringing these girls together…

  • I am thankful for Bernadine’s poem she shared on New Years Eve. It truly touched me and she is allowing me to use it for a digital scrap LO. I already have a vision for it – hanging in my cubicle (with the proper credit of course)…

  • I am thankful that the Lord kept me focused today. Do you ever have a day where everything just works fine and all of a sudden everything unravels? Well, it happened to me this morning. Everything ran like clock-work until I noticed that I made the coffee for my hubby to take to work with, without the coffee 😆 . From there my morning just went sour, but He kept me focused. I think there is a devotional in this story somewhere. I just have to sort it out…

  • I am thankful that God gave me an opportunity to work on a project with Greg at “Mugs of Truth“. More details to come (hehe – I am all giddy about that one)…

  • Last but not least, I am thankful for my Sweetheart who puts up with me and all my projects. I already told him to hide my laptop – 😆 …

Thankful Thursday – New Beginnings

Wow, can’t believe that we have 2008. I am somewhat giddy about the new year. I am not sure why…With this being said, I want to just share a fraction of my thankfulness with you today…

  • I am thankful that God gives me a fresh start every.single.day.! I don’t have to wait for a new year to have my slate wiped clean…

  • I am thankful that I was able to spend a couple of days with my Sweetheart. A new year means some more days off – yeah…

  • I am thankful that our son is doing so well in his job. He just got promoted to head IT. Wow, being only 22 – that is huge…Thank you, Lord!

  • I am thankful for the Lord guidance over the past three months. I am so excited to see what His plans are for my life this year. Trying to wait on His plans is sometimes hard, but I will not ‘jump the gun’ this year. I know that He is faithful in revealing His plans…

  • I am thankful for my health. I will try to take a little bit more care of this ole’ body, like going to bed a little earlier…
