Thankful Thursday ~ Grace

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”

Grace has been running through my head all day…Grace is partially defined as “unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification; a virtue coming from God; a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace”. Yes, I do enjoy His grace, but also the grace of others–so grace will be my personal focus this week…

  • Thank You, Lord for your unmerited favor. Thank You for sending Your son to redeem my soul for the life to come. Thank You for given this gift to all who are willing to receive…

  • I am thankful for friends who will speak with truth in love, seasoned with grace…

  • I am thankful that my Sweetheart extended grace to me over the last two months, even when I was a tad frustrated (well, okay, really frustrated)…

Thankful Thursday ~ Random V

I am sorry that I am a tad late tonight with posting Thankful Thursday — had to get furniture today for our son…This has been a very busy week already and I am thankful for many things, but I will just share a few with you this time around, since I am already late posting 😉 .

  • I am thankful that the Lord gives me a thankful heart every morning and a new song to sing when opening my eyes — especially when I don’t feel thankful getting up early in the morning…

  • I am thankful that I am healthy enough to get out of bed every morning and contribute to the household income…

  • I am thankful that our son is excited moving out…

  • I am thankful that my Sweetheart and I are going to have time for ‘us’ again. We are looking forward to the ‘second’ half our marriage — to be honest, we are excited, thrilled and giddy…

  • I am thankful that the ‘move’ of my blog when fairly smooth. Some things are still missing, but I am able to publish AND I receive emails again — PTL…

  • I am thankful for Darlene’s new column of “Live Well”. If you haven’t check it out yet, I encourage you to head on over there. I think it will bless you…

  • And of course I am thankful that vacation is only 7 working-days aways – PTL!!!

Thankful Thursday ~ Faithfulness

“Let the heavens praise your wonders, O Lord, your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones! For who in the skies can be compared to the Lord? Who among the heavenly beings is like the Lord, a God greatly to be feared in the council of the holy ones, and awesome above all who are around him?.” ~ Psalm 89:5-7 (ESV ~emphasis mine)

I am not sure what happened last night when I was laying in bed next to my Sweetheart. All of a sudden, my mind was racing, my heart pounding and all I could do was thanking my Lord for His faithfulness. I really can’t explain it, but I was just laying there to thank Him for what He has done in my life and the life of others around me…It was beautiful 🙂 .

Here is my list for this week (I’ll keep it short, so you can read many others this week)…

  • I am thankful that You, oh Lord, been faithful to me. Although I just like to ‘take’ off without You in new adventures, You always make sure that I will slow down if need be…

  • I am thankful that my dear friend Terri and her hubby Scott finally got the referral this week. They have been waiting for six long years. God was faithful through the entire time — to give strength and peace to Terri and her family during the waiting period. Please check out her post – experience the joy with them…

  • I am thankful for Saturday mornings. We have had some awesome family breakfasts together. I guess our son is realizing that he has a pretty good home…

  • I am thankful that the Lord got us through the summer – financially. I will share a little more about that on Friday at LWG…Thank you Lord for friends who have a huge heart…

  • I am thankful Connie from “Little Red Hearts From God” accepted the invitation to write for the Laced with Grace blog. Please welcome Connie when you have a chance…Thank you Lord for Connie’s willingness…

  • I am thankful that Michelle has been very patient with me. Her willingness to share her knowledge in digital scrap-booking is incredible. The coolest thing — we talk about Christ in our online conversations 😛 …

  • And of course, I am thankful for my upcoming vacation — two more week – PTL …

Thankful Thursday ~ Mercy

Have ever felt like everyone/everything is against you no matter what you do? Well, one of those weeks is behind me…Starting with server issues on Wednesday (all my emails where gone – like 6,000 of them), going through the weekend, all I could do is have my LWG team pray and trying to pick up the pieces as good as I could…I am wondering if ‘someone’ does not want me or the LWG team publish Christian blogs. So, here is my thankful list for this week:

  • I am thankful that no matter what — He is there. He will give me refuge under His wings until the path of destruction passes over me…

  • I am thankful for Casting Crowns latest CD “The Altar and the Door” that was just released. Just love the song “East To West“. Hope you have a minute to listen to it on their site 🙂 …

  • I am thankful that Darlene allowed me to interview Crystal for the CWO September issue 🙂 .

  • I am thankful that you, my dear Thankful Thursdayers, are here today. That means that you did not receive any *nasty* emails that ‘apparently’ yours truly has sent out. I am really wondering why hackers find it funny to hack blogger emails…

  • I am thankful that because of all these on-line issues, Laced with Grace will finally get its own URL. Please stay tunned; the team will publish the new URL as soon as I have everything transferred to a different hosting company this weekend. Sting my Heart will be moving too, but I think I will keep the URL, since I already paid for it for the next two years…

  • I am thankful that an awesome Christian scrapping designer has accepted my application to create LO from her designs. Thank you Michelle 🙂 …

  • And of course I am thankful that my vacation is only 3 weeks away — Hallelujah!!!!
