Today I just want to jot down some random thankful notes. I am always giddy when I write my thankful posts. Although there are some things I truly miss, the Lord has blessed me with many things here in the US. I shall remember all the blessings when I feel ‘blue’…

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 (ESV)

• Lord, I am thankful that You have planted me here in the desert to seek Your living water and receive life…
• I am thankful for my Sweetheart who still really, really likes me and does have the desire to be married to me…
• I am thankful that my Sweetheart has a job so we can pay our mortgage, car payments…
• I am thankful for the laundry that I am folding, because that means that we have clothes to wear…
• I am thankful that I have fresh fruit and vegetable available to purchase whenever I feel like it…
• I am thankful for my alarm, because it means that I have a job (even when I grumble sometimes)…
• I am thankful for our son; that he has a job and enjoys is (most days)…
• I am thankful that I can take a shower any time I need to feel refreshed…
• I am thankful that the weather has been really great this spring (still nice and cool)…
• I am thankful that I can read the Bible in many languages or Bible translations on the Internet (great for research)…
• I am thankful for my laptop and wireless card, because I can write this post in the living room in my comfy chair…
• I am thankful that I won baseball tickets last week–gives us the chance to see the ballpark from the inside on Friday night…
• I am thankful for Digital Freebies–this week’s link for digi-scrappers 😛 . They have every Friday a Freebie and sometimes some really cool deals in the Boutique…

I know, I know, I just had “Praise” in my thankful post in February, but just thinking about His great love for us…there is nothing else that I can do, right? So, here is my ‘praise thankfulness’ for this week…

• I am thankful that God still loves me. Even though I fall short every single day, Christ has covert my sin with His blood. And believe me, I am more than ready to sit down at the long supper table that the Lamb has prepared for us…
• I am thankful for Lisa’s beautiful Blog Bible study–which she wrote. If you have not read her first lesson on “I AM – so you don’t have to be“, I encourage you to read it. What a blessings. I am praising Him that He has crossed Lisa’s path with mine 😛 …
• I am thankful that I have decided against the new laptop. We got a new mattress for our bedroom instead. Oh, how heavenly the new mattress is. We sleep so much deeper now. No more achy bones when we get up in the morning. I told my Sweetheart that it is more comfy to sleep on a new mattress than on a laptop…
• I am thankful that I am busy at work. I don’t like to be slow. So I keep asking for more work. Not sure it that is wise, but I rather be busy than twiddling my thumbs…
• I am thankful that my Sweetheart finally convinced me to get my hair cut. I will have to up-date my profile picture soon…
• I am thankful that we still have very cool weather in the Valley of the Sun. Soon it will be 110+. So for right now I am enjoying the cool 70’s and 80’s. I hope that it will be still cool when I finally meet with Laurel for lunch in May…
• Last but not least, I am thankful that my Sweetheart is grilling the burgers tonight, so I can finish my thankful post…Oh, do I love this man…
