Thankful Thursday ~ Gift

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” ~ Ephesians 2:8 (ESV – emphasis mine)

Yes, I know I am very early today to post the Thankful Thursday post, but I have my reason. I’ll let you know at the end of this post…

So, here is my short, but sweet list for this week…

  • I am thankful that God was so gracious to give me the gift of life–nothing I need to add to the gift of salvation. Because I am so grateful, I don’t mind serving Him–where ever He places me and sees it fit that I can be useful for His kingdom…

  • I am thankful for my Sweetheart. He patiently explained Photoshop to me so I can do some scrap book layouts fairly quick. I love spending time with him. Especially when we are very close–like ‘hovering’ over the laptop 😀 …

  • I am thankful for layout gifts–like Jenny’s. She is a German gal – very cool stuff she is sharing. If you are thinking to start digi scrapping, check her out…(I have to admit–I already bought some cool tools from Miss Peppermint *sigh*)…

  • I am thankful for the gift of friendship. I have met some incredible women on-line. Too many to list in this post, so check out My Blogroll or the ‘Thankful Bunch‘…

  • Last but not least, I am thankful for the gift-package that arrived. Yeah – I won something because I left a comment during the Blog-Party. Christy from BonBon Boutique actually personalized my package with a coffeecup that has my ‘life-line‘ verse on it (don’t you just love it when people do that). Check out this cool package (I call it ‘survival package’)…

Thankful Thursday ~ Wonderful…

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

  • I am thankful that God made me, me 🙂 . Sometimes I grumble, but He still loves me. He has given me a sense of humor–He made me in His image. God is making me into a woman I always wanted to be…

  • I am thankful for my earthly Dad. Although he is no longer with me, he taught me about the wonderful things in life; what is important and what is not…

  • I am thankful for my Sweetheart. He is a wonderful husband and father. Tonight he fixed (with his software) a scanned picture from my dad. It had a big hole–now you can’t see it any longer. I hope that I will get the scrapbook layout done so I can post it on Friday…

  • I am thankful for women like Amy and Jenny who create wonderful digital scrapbook kits for people to use–for free. Yeah, I am officially hooked on digital scrap booking. I still have a lot to learn (you should see what my friends TNChick or Amy create *sigh*), but it is always fun to learn new stuff…

  • I am thankful for Laurie, who wrote the most wonderful lead-in to one of my devotions I had written for the Internet Cafe. Thank you, Laurie for your kind words…

  • I am thankful for Darlene for allowing me to write for the Internet Cafe. It is awesome to be a part of a wonderful community of Christian women…

  • I am thankful for the wonderful women over at Laced with Grace…

  • I am thankful for Rachael Ray. With her 30-Minute meal ideas, I can put a wonderful, gourmet dish on the table — during the week…

  • And I am thankful for you, my wonderful, beloved visitors and readers…

You know why I love Thankful Thursdays? Because even though I had a pretty crummy work-week, I know that I am blessed beyond belief…It makes my heart leap to just sit down and write about those blessings 😛 .

Thankful Thursday ~ Life

  • I am thankful that God gave me a second chance. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed by His love that I just burst in tears—especially when I listen to praise music in my car. Thank you Lord for guiding me back into Your arms and into your flock…

  • I am thankful for my Sweetheart. During his spring-break he is doing a lot of projects around the house. Not only does he work on the things that he normally does (like yard work), but also lends me a hand with stuff that is my responsibility so we can spend time when I get off work…

  • I am thankful for Bible study tools online. That saves me money that I would have to spend on concordances and references. My favorites are Lifeway, StudyLight and the ESV Online Tool…

  • I am thankful for doctors and nurses that are trying to narrow down what causes Heather to have the horrible migraine headaches. As you think of her today, would you please pray for her and even stop by her blog…

Thankful Thursday ~ Random…

  • I am thankful for God’s protection and faithfulness. Every morning He puts a song in my head that I gladly sing throughout the day. It gets me through the rough spots in the day…

  • I am thankful for my Sweetheart’s healing. Although he still has headaches, but the wooziness is gone — PTL….We have determined that the dizzy spells come from his allergy medication…

  • I am thankful for my praying friends. Thank you, Ladies. You are a blessing to me…

  • I am thankful that our son might has the opportunity to make a dream come true. He put in for a transfer to Japan with his company. If it works out, they will pay for the move. We will know for sure in 2-3 months. He is all excited and we are with him. Although, Japan is a very long way away from home 😥 …

  • I am thankful that CWO has another writing contest this year. Please check it out in this month’s issue. Too bad that I can not participate…

  • I am thankful that my “Moods” plugin in fixed. I kept ‘loosing’ my moods since TNChick had helped me to up-grade to WP 2.1 (okay-she did the entire up-grade). Thanks to Kevin at Coding All Hours, my moods are ‘fixed’ now. Thank you Kevin for fixing my favorite WP plugin…
