I have missed Bible study for such a long time, that I am really yearning to dip back into the pool of His Word with my faithful study partner, Carlene. It is just horrible how I have neglected the study of His Word. I have been reading ‘only’ my daily devotions over the past 8 months, and sometimes I don’t think that is enough…
What a great title my friend picked to get back into the habit of really studying the Word. It is called “Living in Jesus“…I think us so called ‘long-time’ believers often forget what He has done for us at the cross. You know what passage just came to mind as I am writing this:
“I am the true wine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”

i like to put in my indelible grace cd of hymns and read the words as i sing along…that helps me greatly to stay in Him and focused on what i need to focus on…
That is a great idea…I have some songs that I really like and I often listen to and know the words by heart…
