My blogging friend, Laurel from Laurel Wreath came up with a wonderful idea for 2007. This is what she says:
“I would like you to post on your site about your hopes, dreams, goals, for the next year. What would you like to see God do in your life? How would you like to see Him move in things? Make this as general or as personal as you feel comfortable. What are your goals for next year? I am not looking for the “lose 10 lbs this year” answer, something a little bit deeper. When you look back December 2007 where would you like to be? Many of us look forward to new changes in the new year, some of us dread the changes. As a side note, this blog is going to go through some changes. Soon you will be arriving to a NEW IMPROVED look, but don’t worry it will be the same ‘ol me. Changes are sometimes good, sometimes dreaded, and sometimes dreamed. What is your change or dream for this next year?” (read her entire post here)
Over the last several days I have been thinking about 2007 and what I want it too look like. Where I want to go — rather what plan God has for me. I already started making changes concerning this blog. I took down the T13 link in my sidebar, since I don’t write T13 posts anymore…What else He has in store for me and this particular blog, we have to wait and see…
So, why don’t you join us in the new year and share with us your thoughts?
Have a blessed Sunday and always…
Laurel Wreath has me really thinking, too. I’m not sure what changes I’m making yet but I know I’m not just walking into a brand new year without a plan.
Uh oh. You went from “merry” to “mellow” to “drained.” You need a nice hot cup of tea and a good book. I’m hoping to see “merry” again soon.
And of course you can add me to your blogroll. I’d be honored.
Thank you so much for posting this. I look forward to reading everyone’s post. I know the Lord has changes in store for me this year and I believe this is my way of thinking through things. I am getting excited =)
I pray you have a restful sleep and may God renew you.
Blessings.
thanks Im going to keep this in mind for the 1st
