Most of you might have read it already today – CWO’s blog closed down. First, I would like to thank all my readers who faithfully visted over there. It was a wonderful adventure. Personally I am very sad about it, because it was something I always wanted to do – Team Blogging with other Christian women. Darlene gave me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. Although my English is still not the best, I feel more comfortable blogging with other women…

I have been praying since Wednesday night about what to do with the experience I received at the CWO’s blog. I am taking a huge leap of faith. I trust in Him to see me through this new project. If it fails, well, so be it! But I finally want to really step out and glorify Him, who has given me so much…

Okay, here is goes: I am working to get a devotional blog of the ground. I have already two ladies who committed their time to this new blog. We hope to have it up and running by October 9th. We will share our thoughts Mondays – Fridays with you and we hope that you will stop by once in a while. Since this blog is still in its infant stage, I need your help:

  • We are looking for 2 more women who are interested in writing a devotional once a week for that blog. Requirements? That you personally confess the Apostles’ Creed; you like to encourage women of all ages in their walk of faith. That’s it!

Please leave me a comment or email me (you can find the email address in my sidebar ). Oh, you wonder what the name of the blog will be? “Laced with Grace”. As soon as we have the team together, I will share more details about the writers.

Darlene – I want to thank you for the experience at CWO’s blog and for helping out with the promotion of “Laced with Grace”.

  1. Very, very cool!!! “Laced With Grace.” I love it! I am not surprised! This will be right up your alley. I look forward to reading what you (and the other writers) come up with for devotions. So glad you’re feeling energetic. What a nice belated birthday gift. *-)

P.S. I’m sorry that the CWO Blog has closed down.

  2. I look forward to your devotional blog Iris! And I’m sad to see CWO end. It was a daily read for me.

Hey, did you know I can’t get ‘bloglines’ to give me your updates on this blog? I am wondering if it’s just me, or if it’s your server. Has anyone else ever mentioned it?

    Thanks
    C

  3. Oh Iris this is so wonderful to hear. It will help me with the hole from my reading over at the CWO BLog. I can’t wait for the unveiling. I guess the changing of the season is bring change for all of us in so many ways!

Thanks for visiting my new digs! It is still full of unfixed messes and unpacked boxes but I am working on it a little at a time! I used a standard free theme and added my own header. In time as I perfect my php learning I will publish my own template, but for now I am quite comfy and happy!

I hope you got your snuggle with your sweatheart and are having a sweet weekend!

  4. What?! I didn’t know! Seems like I was just there a few days ago. Looking forward to your Laced with Grace blog, though. Beautiful idea. Keep going, girl. God has given you a sweet spirit for Him.

  5. I would like to be considered for the new blog if the position hasn’t been filled yet. I am so excited at the possibility I am being all formal and business like instead of shouting yeah, yipppee, pick me , pick me!!

  6. Oh, Iris……I’m so pleased for you. I know this must be a “God thang” 🙂 because your life is already so full with life and all. I think Darlene and the CWO blog must’ve lit a creative fire under you, giving you a taste of using your words to gloify God, while at the same time, encouraging the body.

I haven’t completed “catching up” with you, so I don’t know if your team is yet complete. It’d be my privilege to pray alongside you for the details of this effort, that it will be all about Him doing a marvelous work in and through you. I know it will be a blessing to many, and I look forward to reading more :).
