What can get any funky(ier) than bell-bottoms and a 70’s hair-style ๐ ? Yeah – that is me; in white pants and black blouse. This photo was taken after my profession of faith in May of ’75…
Thank you for stopping by today — have a funky fabulous weekend.
Wow, what a cool chick you were my friend, lol hope you have a funky fabulous weekend too.
I agree that you really look funky fabulous in that photo! Have a great weekend! ๐
Very cool! ๐ Great scrapbook layout! The 70s styles were certainly funky!
My funky photo.
have a nice weekend, too!…I like that 70’s style:)
I think it has all come full circle; you are lovely!
Real funky bell-bottom. Those were the days when this was rather popular. Happy Weekend! http://crizlai.blogspot.com/2007/08/photo-hunters-funky.html
Oh, my, I remember bell-bottom pants. I loved those things! Great funky picture.
The bell bottoms made me smile. It’s funny. We all were mirror images of each other, we dressed and wore our hair so alike. I wonder if bell bottoms will ever come back. I especially remember a bright orange pair I had. LOL
That’s a great photo and you look awesome!
Wow– much calmer than the stuff my mom put on me in 1975 (I was 1)–but still very funky. I love the fact that it is your profession of faith. Wodnerful–and great job on the funky layout. ๐ Hope all is well.
What a great picture!
I think He is looking for some funky fabulous women.
๐
Bell bottoms, and white at that….that’s really funky. The funkiest decade would be the ’70s.
Oh, love those 70s!!!
Happy Weekend.
And yet you look so hip! If you still have those clothes – they still work it! lol
Funky fabulous, indeed! What a great day! (And, all that is back in so you could still sport that look if you wanted to…)
Fabulous Funky is right, love the picture!
BTW, I tagged you, please come by when you get a chance:)
Have a great weekend!
God Bless,
Amber
What a great picture Iris – and what a special occassion. You look beautiful – bell bottoms and all!
oooh yeah love those white flares – very retro ๐
Well, I think you look normal…it’s that black & white flowered skirt to the left of the photo that’s got me screaming FUNKY!! I love it, but boy…
That is a great page for your scrapbook. Good idea. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Now that is what I call funky. I looked at this word a little different that most. But you are on my wave length this weekend! I was saved in May of 1972. I just beat you a little tiny bit. Thanks for stopping by today and have a Blessed weekend. Sandy
Ya know.. I think I have a similiar outfit… and Yes,, I was “funky”…
we thought we were all that though, didn’t we??
Gorgeous!!! Hey, you’re back in style now. Do you still have that outfit? hehehehe…..
I told my daughter if I would have held onto to my high school clothes for her she would be one of the best dressed around! : )
Hope you’re having a great weekend!
I love your funky picture!!! and great scrapbooking ๐
happy weekend, my friend
I love the picture. Bell bottoms…wow that brings back memories.
Wow, bell bottoms thats just great looking. I agree with Vader’s Mom it not just the skirt, get a load of the checked suit the young boy has on, and also the pose the young man has (in the left of the pic) kinda like James Bond???? sorry Iris for poking fun of your pic, I’m sure we all have pics like that around, don’t we girls???!!! Your scrap pages are really great, I just can’t get the hang of it, [probably my computer is older and slower). Keep on scraping and I’ll keep on looking.
Great pic!…I mean, GROOVY pic!
You looks so cool and beautiful..I still remember when I was about 8 years old, bell-bottoms was very fashionable in China, my mother made for me. It was a green knitting. I like it very much, till now a sweet memory in my heart. My mother is good at knitting, but I am not good at it. Maybe the Lord do not give me this kind of talent. ๐
How sweet that you have a photo to remind you of your profession of faith.
Love the outfit also.
That’s a fun photo!
I gave you a little award on my blog. ๐
I love it! Great photo. Hope it brings back lots of happy memories.
Girlfriend! Those pants are totally hip! Great photo—reminds me of some of mine…my daughter sat in the floor last night going through some old ones of our family…I had some “painfully dated looks” from big glasses to very poofy hair-dos!
Love it! Hope your weekend went well! My daughter and her husband went to church on Sunday (as my sister’s church) So I am praising God for THAT!!!
Makin’ me smile here today. So cute!!!
Funky photo!! What a great memory to capture on camera.
Thanks for leaving a comment at my photohunt!!
Now that is some funky styles in the time of Funk!
Definitely funky-fabulous! I think I had those same pants . . . and I definitely had that hairdo! We all did. Can’t see your feet in the photo . . . are you wearing platforms? That would make the package complete. ๐
