Photo Theme: Doors ~ Join the blogroll ~ Visit participants.
You know I am glad that I have the pictures I took in Germany in ’04 on a disk. Comes in handy for Saturday’s Photo Hunts .
Well, these doors lead into the Berliner Dom. The most prominant church in Berlin. Since the wall came down in 1989, Western Germans have access again. I liked the indoors as well. They have done an awesome job restoring this church…So, for me, these doors have more than just one meaning…
For my visitors who do not participate in the photo hunt ~ there is always room in the comment section. And if you did participate this weekend…let me know that as well .
Have a blessed Saturday…

Beautiful. These old buildings are not only wonderful to look at, they are so awe-inspiring. Walking through these doors sets the stage for a unique experience.

Beautiful! I love old churches!
This is an awesome picture of a beautiful church…. Great choice.
Speaking of Berlin.. I own a piece of the wall that came down. A very good friend of mine in junior high moved to Germany because he father got stationed there with the military. She would send me stuff from all over. I always thought that piece of the wall was the neatest of the gifts 🙂
I love visiting churches, or cathedrals. The restoration on this one is fantastic and I’m so glad they brought it to life again. When you walk through the door, it’s like a whole new life opens up, and it has a world all of its own.
Thnx for sharing
Mandy
