Wow – where did last month go? Before I start on my recap, I have to admit that I have not lived as intentionally as I have hoped…As I was reading my list from January, I can place a check-mark on some of the items.

I have met with my Lord on a daily basis before starting my day. Well, the prayer life is still a little shaky, but staying in the Word (by His grace) I accomplished.

Hm – how about not pressing on before the Lord? Well…let me tell you – there are still some moments where I want to rush the Lord. I don’t think He likes to be rush. I really need to pace myself and don’t get discouraged. I know that He has a plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11).

Expending Laced with Grace…Not there yet, BUT we do have a guest writer in February and March (and I pray that she will stay on). Some of you might know her (actually I think a lot of you know her). If you have never visited Leigh’s blog “Speaking Thru Me“, I encourage you to head on over there. She is wonderful and I am very thankful that she is willing to share her thoughts with the readers of Laced with Grace 😛 …As for the rest of the expansion? I will see where the Lord leads in the next couple of months.

RAK’s (Random Acts of Kindness)…That is for the Lord to decide 😉 . I think that I am doing my part, but I am not going to list them here…

Scanning photos? Yup – check-mark. It is so much fun to revive old memories and making digital LO’s with them. Oh, BTW – your’s truly is featured scrapper of the month at Gotta Pixel. I was floored that the team has picked me 🙂 .

Writing notes in my book – not going so well. I don’t seem to find the time to do it. I have it all in my head, but I really, really need actually write my thoughts down!!! Would you pray for me in that area? Please – I could use your prayers.

Truly living intentionally is something we all should do. I have noticed that if I keep my eyes fixed on the Cross and take the “me-factor” out of life, I get more accomplished AND have time to spare (even if it just a little)…

Thank you Elisa for hosting this accountability group. It is helping me to keep focused on the things that are truly important. You can still join us for the year to live intentionally. Check out the initial post here.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a blessed, fabulous Friday, my dear friend…

  3. You are doing great!! The greatest thing about this is that it provides focus and it looks like you have accomplish more than you can realize…I love how you talked about keeping off the “me” factor..that is SO true..

How many times during a busy day do we tend to get so focused on our own little world, we forget there is much more to the picture!

Great list!! Hope you have a great Friday!

  4. I think the “me” in all of us gets in the way of “HIM” from time to time. I have the same difficulties with time. Time is one thing we can’t make “more” of. We just have to wisely use what we have. I fail so much in that area.
Bless you Iris! You remind me where my focus needs to be!

  6. The “Me” factor is hard to let go of. But being aware of it is half the battle. That is a great list that you are working toward, and I think that even in the little steps that it seems we are making that at the end of the year, we will have grown immensely.

  7. Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog. My sone says “you’re welcome.”
