As Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the people & things we are thankful for, I came up with a list I would like to share with my faithful readers (thank you, Blest with Sons for this great idea):
- God, Who picked me from the pumpkin patch to be cleansed by the blood of Christ
- My Sweetheart, who loves me for who I am, without any reservations
- Our son, who sometimes drives me crazy, but at the same time makes me proud to be his mom
- My parents, who taught me all the important things of life
- My sister, who I wish I would talk to more often than every two to three months (but I guess 6,000 miles distance do that to you)
- My best friend Carlene, who is also a great Bible study partner (and we like to have our ‘Kaffee Klatch’ – German word for ‘coffee talk’)
- My boss Pastor John, who is the best boss I ever worked for
- Beth Moore & Greg Laurie, who are the best Bible teachers (my personal opinion – ha)
- Bloggers like Jill, Doris, Blest with Sons, PM, Dee, Jeff, John, Ben, LadyBex, Otto, Mona, Brad, and Donna who make me laugh & smile, reflect & sometimes cry; who are encouraging to me on a daily basis…
- Our home
- Daily food
- Friends in general
- Cristina, who gave my Blog a new face
- Last, but not least, Coffee (maybe that should have been almost at the top – lol)
