“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
~ Psalm 18:1-3 (ESV)

Normally I do not post on Sundays but this post could not wait until Monday – time is precious. I am asking you if you would consider supporting the MS Walk in San Antonio on behalf of Linda’s Family.

I read Linda’s post about her son Todd (who is also ministering a small congregation)…I woke up in the middle of the night to pray for Todd, Linda and family. Linda is also one of our Laced with Grace team blog members. Please read her post first, pray and if you are led, please consider supporting their walk on March 1st.

Thank you for stopping by today…blessings to you and your precious families…

  1. That’s such a heartbreaking illness to go through but what an encouraging reminder of strong faith. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I came by originally to say that I tagged you in a book meme. Its really simple so I hope you don’t mind. I’ve been really busy lately so I don’t remember if I found you or you commented on my blog but I do know it was through the Photo Hunt. I come by your blog weekly now and keep meaning to participate in Thankful Thursday (I just love that). Maybe this week finally. 🙂

  2. This is about the movie post… I bought the movie from my local Family Christian Store. It came out on the 22nd. It was violent as another person mentioned, but not so bloody you could not watch it (it had War scenes). I think the fighting scenes may help the appeal to the men… the love story is great. As the other person mentioned they did take some liberties with some of the truth, but overall it was a good movie. Stop by my website, and go down a few posts (about the Christian romance) I left a link to view a trailer on “Belle and the Beast”. I think you may like that movie too.

    Blessings!!

  3. Hi Iris. I will remember them in my prayers. Was wondering if I could send a another prayer request your way? My grandmother has been in the hospital since Wednesday. She was even on a respirator for over 24 hours. We thought she was going to be OK and that it was just pneumonia but now they are saying she has blood clots in her lungs and a leak in her heart so we are in uncertain times right now. Could you say a little prayer for her. Her name is Mary. Have a good week. Blessings to you and yours.
