Fake

Since I don’t have a green thumb (well all my live plants die 😳 ) – I have a silk fake plant hanging in our living room. I don’t have to remember to water it 🙂

Thank you so much for stopping by today — have a great weekend — stay cool…

  1. I almost posted a photograph of silk flowers for my entry. If my husband wasn’t an agriculture major and farmer for most of h is life, I probably wouldn’t have any live plants, either, Iris! Hope you have a great weekend and can stop by Pollywog Creek to see my “fake” photo, too!

  2. Around my house we commonly refer to it as the “black thumb”. If you want to kill a plant, give it to me. Actually I have had some success with African Violets – so I have lots of them!!
    Cute picture idea Iris.

  3. Lord love a duck, a live plant would certainly die in the heat we’ve having here in the good ole AZ.

  5. You have no idea how often I’ve been tempted to totally switch to silk plants. I DO have a green thumb but it’s so hot here that it’s constant work to keep all my little green friends alive. Sigh.

“Fake” is a very interesting theme, isn’t it? Imagine all the ways to take off on that subject.

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Rob and I are going to be fine. And knowing a new baby is on the way softens the blow of his job loss and puts everything back into perspective. xoxo

  10. I don’t have a green thum either so I am lucky there are many sorts of succulent plants around here 🙂

  11. I’m in between. There are plants that grow and others simply wither. At least artificial plants are there to fill its place. Happy weekend! 🙂

  18. I just learn to water the green plants which are at the balcony…I know it is easy for us to water green plants..most of time I also do this kind of thing…so now everyday when I go to the balcony to hang clothes, I will have a look of the green plans first, if the clay is dry, then I will water them…
