Yeah, my hobby is photography…Who would have thought that 😀 …
I was going to give you a better picture, like our hostess, but after 16 attempts to get no flash in the mirror and don’t blur the picture, I gave up (couldn’t do it TNChick). Although I love my little Nikon, it is not the best to take indoor pictures. It does much better outdoors. Also tried to present it in a cool digi scrap-LO…I guess I am just really tired. No creative juices flowing tonight…
Thank you for stopping by…have a wonderful Saturday.
If you bounce the flash, you can take a photo in a reflective surface. Bouncing the flash means to turn the flash a bit to the side. If your flash can’t be turned (because its built in) then you just turn your body a little so the subject is off centered and viola, no blinding light messing up the photo.
What a great photo and such a fun hobby.
Mine is up too.
You did your best and that’s what counts ! To me it looks very nice !
Great job Iris, love you.
Well you took part, that’s what counts.
jmb
Very nice actually.
Photography is my hobby too, other than blogging…. but I didn’t even attempt to get a shot off in the mirror! Great work.
What a great hobby for a blogger to have. You do take some awesome photos!
I like the shot! Photography is a fun hobby. From previous visits, I can say that you take some beautiful photos.
Still a very creative shot, Iris! I’m tired too.
Have a wonderful Saturday!
What a great tip from Danella. Bouncing the flash. I get frustrated almost every time I try to take indoor shots, too. I’m so spoiled…my digital camera is so “instant” I forget the days of waiting for my photos to come back to Walmart to see if I got a single good shot. It’s right up there with writing a letter by hand. Ugh.
But hey! At least now I know right away that the shot didn’t work. And that would cover about 90% of the photos I take! LOL
I like your digital scrap layout – very cool. 🙂
This was a perfect theme for those of us who are shutterbugs, right? I think you take beautiful photos, Iris. Thanks so much for visiting Pollywog Creek and for your very kind comment. I hope you have a most blessed weekend.
I am praying for you some refreshment, my friend…We tried to sleep in this morning and the phone rang at 8 am….Woke up my whole house!!! argghhh!!
The photo looks fine. 🙂 Photography is a wonderful hobby and you have taken some lovely photos!
I think it’s a great representation of your hobby!
You did just fine… great shot and a wonderful hobby open now to all of us in the digital age. I took 300 shots yesterday at the botanical gardens, one just has to be really good!
I enjoyed your picture. Thank you for sharing.
I can never manage to take pictures without the flash indoors they’re always blurred, I’m glad it’s not just me.
Great picture though 🙂

It must be in the air–tired too. Good thing tomorrow is a day of rest. 🙂

I would like to invite you to a new meme on my blog called Themed Thursdays (for Scrappers)….very much like the Photo Hunters, but for scrappers. I have a theme picked out for each week. Just post a layout with that theme and a link in Mr. Linky. No other rules! Just visit others and comment if possible.
This week is Then & Now as the theme.
You on a bad day is me on a great day with creativity. I love it!
