After our son moved on and out in 2007, my husband and I took up photography as a hobby. I started out with a small Sony Cyber-Shot (7.2 Mega Pixels – which is now discontinued). Soon after my husband got me the point-and-shot camera, I wanted a little bigger camera.
Currently I am photographing all my photos with a Canon 6D.
I still have a lot to learn, but there are some incredible photographers out there that are not afraid to share their knowledge (check my links under photography).
You can find some of my photography on FLICKR, and my portrait website:Iris Nelson Photography.

Iris,
I’ve been a happy user of Canon 10D, 20D and 5D. Technology has really leveled the field. You won’t be disappointed with any of the Canon Rebels.
Now it’s all becoming High Def video and soon pulling high quality still images from the video
Happy Shooting!

Hello, I found your blog online and just wanted to share my Christian documentary film about an amazing woman named Katie Roth who prayed and asked God to use her in a great way and He did. Many lives have been changed because of her prayer, her testimony and this film link I sent you above. I hope you have the time to watch it, it will have a deeper affect on your walk with Jesus. The film has changed people and is Spirit lead. Hope to hear from you after you see it. God bless, Jimmy Dorantes
