What Sting My Heart is thankful for this week

“The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.” ~ Psalm 19:14

  • I am thankful that God’s Word guides me through the day. I just pray that He will give me continued wisdom to work “in the world”. I want to be an encouragement for the people I work with – I tell you – there is much hurt and frustation in this world. Janna with her blog “Bread Crumbs” has been really an encouragment over the last couple of weeks. Not only with her comments she leaves here, but also with her devotional writings at her blog. If you need some encouragement, give her a visit :smile:. Hm – that gives me an idea…
  • I am thankful that our son is finished with his college – he completed his course-work for his Associates Degree within 15 months – we are so pround of him.
  • I am thankful that my sister is doing much better AND that a friend of hers has reinstalled her email on her PC. It is much easier to stay in contact with her that way. The time-difference to Germany is horrible – 8 hours during the summer and 9 hours in the winter…
  • I am thankful for my mom giving my sister a hand in raising her kids and helping my sister to keep positive.
  • I am thankful that Sallie continues with the Carnival of Beauty.

What are you thankful for today? Have a blessed day in the Lord ~ Eph2810
