I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness,
and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.
(Psalm 7:17 ESV)

First I would like to apologize for the delay on posting Thankful Thursday with week. I had my computer shut down yesterday for Christmas with my family.

I am very thankful for the time I had with my little family. Our son was home to celebrate with us, which always make it for a great celebration.

Our son has been going through some rough times with his work right now. I can’t go into details, but one thing that made him very upset was that he was asked to work on Christmas day. And he said no, because the week before he already had worked 80 hours. He said he needed this break with his family. And I am proud of him that he stood up for himself.

It was really nice to have home! I made him his favorite food (Beef Rouladen) and that made him happy. And that is also why I was not online yesterday. I do hope you understand.

What are you thankful for this week. Please do share with us by leaving a link to your Thankful Thursday post below.

Thank you for stopping by today. Remember: sometimes we just need to take a break from everything to celebrate with family.

Love & Peace,
Iris

  1. I’ve been praying for your son Iris! Glad he is taking a stand but I’m sure it’s not easy. It’s been too long since I last linked up for Thankful Thursday so I decided today was the day. I love your thankful heart dear friend.

  2. So sorry to hear you are ending the year with this kind of thing weighing so heavily on your minds. Glad you were able to set those things aside for a day and enjoy time with your family, though! Best wishes for peace, joy, and contentment in the coming year, no matter the circumstances!!
