But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
(Ephesians 4:7 ESV)
This may be a strange title for Thankful Thursday, but these are the things that I am thankful for each and every morning. As I get ready to get into my car, I walk around it and thank God for His grace, love and mercy.
Without His grace, love and mercy I could not make it to heaven. Think about it!?! All the goodness I would have to perform, would not get me even close to heaven. I really try to be ‘good’ every single day, but to be honest, I slip up quite often. Not necessarily the things I do, but the things I think.
But because of His love, His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). It is good to know that He is faithful even when I am faithless.

Thank you for stopping by today. Remember: It is by grace you have been saved by faith (Ephesians 2:8).
Love & peace,
Iris

I love that Lamentations passage. Praise God He is loving and merciful and gracious, otherwise we’d have a hard time living with ourselves!
It is good to know that HE is faithful even when I am faithless. A variation of this was in my prayer just this morning on the way to work.
Bless you dear!!

The absolute greatest gifts of all – God’s grace, love and mercy. Amen! I am so thankful that he is faithful to me even in the midst of my faithlessness.
Blessings!
I wrote a song called “Mercy, Love & Grace!” I am so thankful for these gifts of God! Thanks for the great post & hosting the linkup, & God bless!
Just found your site today! God’s grace, love and mercy – those are wonderful things to be thankful for! 🙂
What wonderful thanks… I so agree. What would we do without grace, love and mercy – these three amazing free gifts from God. Bless you for a great reminder. Have a wonderful day 🙂
I’m thankful for my family and I’m thankful that I have a job and a place to live! After ministering to the homeless yesterday, it just made me realize, yet again, just how blessed I am.
