I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
(Psalm 9:1-2 ESV)
I have to admit that I take my health for granted. But after this flu season, I am very grateful for my health. I am not sure how the flu has hit in your area, but what I have heard over the last couple of months, it has been pretty bad here in the US and world-wide.
I know of people in my circle of friends that ended up in the hospital because of the flu. Thankfully my cold did not turn into a flu. Although I have been battling a pretty bad cold for the past 3 1/2 weeks, I am thankful for my health. One thing that helped me get through the flu season with just a sore nose was that I have been taken Vitamin C with Zinc. The funny thing is though that I have to get it shipped in from my mom in Germany. Yes, there are some vitamin supplements that are similar, but not quite the same 😉 .

Thank you for stopping by today. Remember: do not take your health for granted; take care of your body and your soul.
Love & peace,
Iris

I hope you are feeling better! You’re right, when we are not sick it is really easy to take our good health for granted.
May we be ever thankful for good health & for all of God’s precious & bountiful blessings! Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Good post! I am thankful for my health too. We all came down with flu last February. Praying we don’t this year!
