What Sting My Heart is thankful for this week

“Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.” ~ Psalm 25:5 (NLT)

  • I am thankful for the hope that God gives me every single day. He gives me hope for a better tomorrow and a hope that I can make a difference in someone’s life…
  • I am thankful that I had time this Christmas to sit back and enjoy His presence…
  • I am thankful that I had time to read the book my dear friend sent to me. I will hopefully finish Nancy Kennedy’s book (Girl on a Swing) — by Sunday. I would love to share some thoughts with you. At one point, I cried. I realized that I have a harder time letting our son grow up than I initially thought…
  • I am thankful that I can look toward 2007 with new hope in my heart…
  • I am thankful that my Sweetheart emptied out the dishwasher for me today…
  • I am thankful that it is raining tonight. Hopefully the bad air is being cleaned out through this blessing from above…
  • I am thankful that my mom’s ‘care-package’ arrived today. My mom was disappointed that it didn’t come for Christmas, but we are not…and technically it still is Christmas…
  • I am thankful that our son has found new hope since he started his new job last week…
  • I am thankful that I only have to work 3 days this week (only 2 left )

What are you thankful for this week? Did you have a wonderful Christmas? Any prayers you would like me to lift up on your behalf? I would love to hear from you today…

Blessings on your day and as always…

  1. You’ve definitely got a lot to be thankful for. We’re staying home, we always do. New Years scares me. There’s just a bunch of drunks driving around.
    Take care

  2. I am thankful for you! I am almost finished with Nancy’s book also. It is awesome isn’t it??? she brings her marvelous sense of humor to the most serious of situations…I think it allows us to be human…and to know that someone as devoutly christian as her…can have the same doubts that plague me…it is very reassuring. Enjoy your day!!!

  3. LOL, I can really relate to this: “I am thankful that my Sweetheart emptied out the dishwasher for me today…” My husband was SO helpful in the kitchen this Christmas… a blessing. Also, this: “I realized that I have a harder time letting our son grow up than I initially thought…” It takes time to grieve, but it really heals. TTYL my friend. :~)

  4. Greetings Iris!

  5. I’m thankful my fit of poutiness only lasted one day. I’m sorry you caught me on that day. I’m much better now.

And am thankful for a whole list of other stuff, but this is your blog, so I’ll just enjoy mentally tallying them up.

    {{hugs}}

  6. I have yet to buy this book. I went online to purchase it yesterday, then was distracted and never completed the transaction. I would really be interested in your thoughts. What do you think about me sending them along to Nancy???
