“All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” ~ Proverbs 16:2-3 (ESV

Wow, can’t believe that we have 2008. I am somewhat giddy about the new year. I am not sure why…With this being said, I want to just share a fraction of my thankfulness with you today…

  • I am thankful that God gives me a fresh start every.single.day.! I don’t have to wait for a new year to have my slate wiped clean…
  • I am thankful that I was able to spend a couple of days with my Sweetheart. A new year means some more days off – yeah…
  • I am thankful that our son is doing so well in his job. He just got promoted to head IT. Wow, being only 22 – that is huge…Thank you, Lord!
  • I am thankful for the Lord guidance over the past three months. I am so excited to see what His plans are for my life this year. Trying to wait on His plans is sometimes hard, but I will not ‘jump the gun’ this year. I know that He is faithful in revealing His plans…
  • I am thankful for my health. I will try to take a little bit more care of this ole’ body, like going to bed a little earlier…

So, what are you thankful for today and are you excited about the new year? Do you have plans or goals? Visit my friend Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage to leave your link. I will make sure that I will stop by your blog this week. I will be hosting again starting Jan 17th.

Thanks for stopping by. Blessings on your day and always!
