For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ~ 2 Peter 1:11 (ESV)

In the month of October, my friend Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage is hosting Thankful Thursday — come join in…

Ha, and you thought I would no longer be around. I am 😉 — I just have become a bad blogger. Believe me, I have always something to be thankful for — daily.

Today I would like to share with you about God’s provision. Not only did He provide a way back to Himself in Christ Jesus, but also provides daily for my personal needs. Sure there are some ‘wants’ God has not provided as of today. I am content though — this has not always been the case. I truly believe that God will provide for some of the wants in His time. And if not, so be it…

Over the last several months I have changed my daily routine and it has done me good. I think that is why I have not been around much — at least blogging, FB or on Twitter. In my free time I have read a lot, prayed a lot. A great balance to my insanely hectic job 😆 (thankful that no one at my work knows about my personal blog) …

The greatest thing God provides every single day: His Love. Oh, where would I be without it? It is good to know that there is at least One who loves me unconditionally. Even when I mess up, I know that He will never tell me “enough now – I no longer love you” – oh what precious gift…

God also provided some opportunities for me to grow in my photography. I have met some incredible photographers last week. I just wish I could have been at the workshop the full 2 days. Maybe next time 🙂 .

What are you thankful for this week? Care to share? Head on over to Lynn’s blog to add your name to Mr Linky …

Thank you for stopping by today…Be blessed today and always,

  6. Your post is a confirmation of something I think a lot of us are hearing. I love the Christian friends I\’ve made through Twitter and Facebook but I know I need to find a way to balance it all and use my time more effectively. Thanks for this post.

  7. Iris, so glad I could stop by to visit you today. I was encouraged in your post. I can so understand. Often the LORD changes up my schedule to regroup and get alone with HIM even more. It means putting some things down for a time and others permanently but it\’s always GOOD in GOD.

Praying you have a wonderful weekend dear sister.
