You are wondering why I am bringing up the second chance God gave me? Well, Heather at ‘Graced by Christ‘ is hosting a meme on Friday. She is asking people to share their testimony.
Would you consider to share yours? I hope so. I just hope that I will not alienate some of my readers. Although a Christian as long as I can remember, I had a period in my life where I didn’t walk with Him…But He gave me a second chance. If you have never read the story of the “Prodigal Son” I encourage you to read it and meditate on it a little. I think the story is for Christians who wandered away from the faith…He is faithful and He is calling your name ~ listen to Him…What are you thankful for today?

This is why God is truly a great Father… unlike humans, he gives us second chances, and third ones, and fourth ones…. and he loves us still even when we fall over and over again…. because he is God and he is faithful and he loves us unconditionally…. I’ve been a recepient of His loving graces and of second and third chances.

The crazy thing is that I didn’t deserve that second chance. At all! He is to be greatly praised!

I am thankful you are not a goat either =)) Great things to be thankful for. I know if there would be “no second chances” I would be in a heap of trouble.
I am also thankful that God gives us many chances. As he did with the Nation of Isreal in the Old Testment. In Psalms 106 God over and over again warns this Nation as he does us. We see that he still was willing to forgive them, as He does us.
I am thankful that He has allowed me to live another day on this earth to serve Him.
God is so great and is so forgiving and He listens to everything we have to say and it’s GREAT how He is always there for us…He always answers our prayers…sometimes maybe not the answer we are looking for…but I believe He always answers us…I can see you have a lot to be thankful for…we all do! 🙂
