Thankful Thursday ~ Resurrection

“And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.'” ~ Matthew 28:4-7 (ESV)

Since this is Holy Week and Sunday is Resurrection (Easter) Sunday, I thought that I focus on this Thankful Thursday on His death and resurrection…

  • Thank You Lord for sending Your Son to live a life free of sin…

  • Thank You Jesus for taking the punishment for me and for not saying ‘no’ to the crown of thorns that was meant for me…

  • Thank You Jesus for carrying the cross up to the hill…

  • Thank You Jesus for nailing my sins of the past, present and future to the cross…

  • Thank You Jesus for the victory over death and life everlasting…

  • Thank You Lord for not leaving us as orphans, but giving us the Holy Spirit to help us stay on the path You have put before us…

“The Final Inquiry”

I have never heard of this movie until tonight as I was browsing the Internet. Has anyone of you seen or heard about this movie? It looks very interesting. I would be up for a great movie, since I haven’t seen any great movies for some time. I think I am going to order the movie…or maybe it is time to get Netflix 🙂 .

Thankful Thursday ~ Delight

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Wozaa! I almost forgot that tomorrow is already Thursday. How cool is that! Well, here is my thankful list for this week:

  • I am thankful that the Lord keeps interrupting my day to pray for others. It is so cool how He puts names in my head and I start praying for them…way cool!

  • I am thankful for the girls at Laced with Grace. I know I have said it before, but I just want to share it again. If you think that all of them are volunteers – sharing their wisdom, passion and love with others without compensation – Lord you are good. Thank you for bringing these girls together…

  • I am thankful for Bernadine’s poem she shared on New Years Eve. It truly touched me and she is allowing me to use it for a digital scrap LO. I already have a vision for it – hanging in my cubicle (with the proper credit of course)…

  • I am thankful that the Lord kept me focused today. Do you ever have a day where everything just works fine and all of a sudden everything unravels? Well, it happened to me this morning. Everything ran like clock-work until I noticed that I made the coffee for my hubby to take to work with, without the coffee 😆 . From there my morning just went sour, but He kept me focused. I think there is a devotional in this story somewhere. I just have to sort it out…

  • I am thankful that God gave me an opportunity to work on a project with Greg at “Mugs of Truth“. More details to come (hehe – I am all giddy about that one)…

  • Last but not least, I am thankful for my Sweetheart who puts up with me and all my projects. I already told him to hide my laptop – 😆 …
