Doors at Berliner Dom

You know I am glad that I have the pictures I took in Germany in ’04 on a disk. Comes in handy for Saturday’s Photo Hunts .

Well, these doors lead into the Berliner Dom. The most prominant church in Berlin. Since the wall came down in 1989, Western Germans have access again. I liked the indoors as well. They have done an awesome job restoring this church…So, for me, these doors have more than just one meaning…

For my visitors who do not participate in the photo hunt ~ there is always room in the comment section. And if you did participate this weekend…let me know that as well .

Have a blessed Saturday…

On The Spree River

Okay, I am sure you will not find these signs here in the US , because I took this picture in Germany in 2004 (yeah, pretty much all the pictures you find on this blog are taken by me and kind of belong too me ). I was happy to find that there where signs in the background on this picture for this week’s photo hunt. What do these signs mean? Beats me. But I know for certain that you can’t use a row-boat on the Spree river, which is located in Berlin

Happy Saturday (btw – even if you don’t participate in the photo hunt, you can leave a comment )

Happy 4th of July

Herrenhauser Garden Fireworks Display

I wish all my readers from the US a wonderful, safe and blessed 4th of July. My readers from Canada: I hope you had a great Canada Day.

How are you spending your day off? We will just kick back, watch the World Cup semi-finals (Germany vs. Italy) live, and hopefully yours truly can stay away from the web …Next Tuesday you will find again Tackle Tuesday hosted by Janice at ‘5 Minutes for Mom‘ in the Tuesday posting spot .

The fireworks picture above is from the summer festivals at Herrenhauser Gardens, Hannover Germany.

Update: Very …Oh well, it is just a game. Germany lost against Italy 2:0 in overtime. Still it was great game and fun to watch. I am still proud of the German team. No one thought they would make it as far as they did…Viva Germany!!!!
