Ready For Another Week?

Psalm 21

I have to tell you, weekends just go way too fast, don’t you agree? Here we are, another Monday…

  • This morning I am sharing my thoughts on marriage over at Laced with Grace…I hope you have a moment to stop by…
  • Christine at Fruit in Season is hosting this week’s IOW, sponsored by CWO. She picked the following quote by Neil Anderson: “Satan’s ultimate lie is that you are capable of being the god of your own life, and his ultimate bondage is getting you to live as though his lie is truth.”
  • Speaking of CWO — did you see the new Snippet Tags Darlene created? They are awesome…
  • Last but not least, Sting My Heart was nominated for another award. Can you believe it? I think I know who nominated me, but she won’t tell me…Sting My Heart was nominated for “Happiest Blog” – wow. Check out the nomination list over at Share The Love Blog Awards. What a list!!! I know several of the blogs that are nominated. Two bloggers I call friends are also nominated (in different categories though). Carol (She Lives) and Laurel (Laurel Wreath) – you go girls!

I pray that your week will be blessed. If you get weary, get strength in His Word, for example, Psalm 21

Lots of Things Happening…

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was quiet around here this weekend – wet outside, but cozy and warm in our four walls. I got my house all cleaned up, laundry washed, read my Bible, read several chapters of “The Mom Complex” (did you Darlene is really funny?), listened to sermon(s). drove our son to work and picked him up….I guess I was busy .

I just wanted to share a few things that are going on in the blogsphere…

  • Please visit Laced with Grace tomorrow morning and read what my dear friend, Sissy has to share with you. I pray that it is as encouraging to you as it to me…
  • My friend Laurel, will be hosting “In Other Words” this week. The quote she has selected:

“You act more like a Christian by your influence on the lost, then the save people you impress.” – Dr. Alvin Reid

If you need a little background on the quote, please read his article “Being like Jesus ~ Part 2” (very compelling). I pray you will find the time to join us on Tuesday…

  • Darlene created a wonderful page to leave your prayer requests…She is also looking for prayer warriors to join the team. So please check it out – okay?

  • Would you like to ‘meet’ some new bloggers? Than this blog-party is for you…

    Ultimate Blog Party

I pray that you will have a blessed week and seek Him when you are stressed, down and need encouragement…

Monday Morning…

Since it is Monday again, you will find my blog at Laced with Grace. Hope to see you there.

Also, Darlene created a button for Laced with Grace’s blogroll. If you are interested to add to your sidebar, please let me know and I will email you the code. This is how it will looks like:

BTW – if you have not read this month’s interview on CWO, please take the time. Lisa Whelchel is the featured guest this month — and she has some great tips for busy moms…

Have a blessed Monday and as always…

Thankful Thursday ~ Prayer

What Sting My Heart is thankful for this week

“But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD.
At an acceptable time, O God,
in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.” ~ Psalm 69:13 (ESV)

  • I am thankful that we, His children, have a ‘direct connect’ to the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ in prayer. Although He knows our every thought before we speak, it is wonderful to know that we can come to Him in prayer — 24/7…
  • I am thankful that He answered my prayer for find a new writer for Laced with Grace. Although I am sorry to see Sissy leave the team, I am thankful that Laurel (Laurel Wreath) accepted the invitation to write for LWG…
  • I am thankful that Sissy (The Whippoorwill Chronicles) took time to write for LWG over the last couple of months. Please continue to lift her up as she is dealing with some personal issues that need her full attention…
  • I am thankful that Carol (She Lives) is back. I truly missed her wonderful posts…
  • I am thankful for all the kind comments I have received over the past week due to this post
  • I am thankful that my Sweetheart helps me around the house. Not sure if I could get everything done around here without him given me a hand…

What are you thankful for today? Do you enjoy the prayer time you have with your Heavenly Father?

Blessings on your day and always…
