Sharing Crystal’s “Treasure”

Crystal's Cover Picture I am so excited to share with you all the up-coming release of Crystal’s CD “My Treasure”. I am looking forward holding the CD in my hands so I can listen to the entire CD. Crystal’s voice is just incredible and the team has done an awesome job with the harmonies. Since I am a little ‘softy’, my favorite song is thus far “Refuge”. I was privileged to hear several songs of her CD…You can listen in to two songs of her CD at her special created “My Space Page“. One totally makes you feet tap, the other…well, you gotta listen. That is all that I can say.

The CD will be released on September 20th, but you can pre-order your copy already. Head on over to Crystal’s blog (after you listen to the two songs) and contact her. I already pre-ordered mine several week’s ago.

You see, with God, all things are possible. Crystal, I am thrilled for you and your band that your project worked out so well. I am blessed to ‘know’ you. I so wish I could be at your release party in September. I will be there though in my thoughts and prayers.

Who ever Said…

…that you can’t jazz up old hymns has not heard the “Redemption Songs” album by the group “Jars of Clay“. When you grew up like me with Rock – you will appreciate this project. The melody lines and the lyrics are from old, favorite hymns, like “Nothing but the Blood”, “I’ll Fly Away” or the song you can hear here, “I Need Thee Every Hour”, but oh, the arrangements rock!!!! Although I bought this CD for only the one song I truly love (“I’ll Fly Away”), I love the entire album. I give it 5 stars :razz:…

Yup – got my first – NEW MP3 player. Love this one. Easy for me to use (drag’n’drop menu) and it has 2GB of storage. Perfect to listen to great music and sermons while at the office…My Sweetheart did good :)…

Do You Have…

…a favorite Christmas song?
As we are in the last days before Christmas 2005, all radio stations are playing Christmas music. From secular to religious ones. Is there a song that you truly like to sing from the bottom of your heart? Please do share.
I actually have two favorites I love to sing at Christmas: “What Child is This” Mercy Me’s rendition, and “Do you Hear What I hear” Third Day’s rendition. I know, strange that I like old hymns as a contemporary version; but if you knew me, you’ll understand – lol. Check out the list Blest with Sons put up (that great lady is unstoppable posting – I had to page through a lot of pages to find that post again).
