  2. You look absolutely dashing 🙂 I have a photo similar to this of me and my father- He is an amazing man and I am very thankful for him.

    Be blessed,

  3. I love the photo of you with your dad. I had an up and down relationship with my own daddy, much of the down was my fault unfortunately. I suppose I could have seen the same love in my dad’s eyes for me that I can see in your dad’s eyes for you if I would have bothered to look.

  4. A beautiful memory. I wish I had a picture of me and my Dad but unfortunately, I guess no one ever thought to take one. Thanks for sharing. My WW is up too.

  5. hehe, I see someone thought that was your hubby. I must admit, I knew it was your Dad =) Great photo – you know… I’m still waitin’ for a picture *hint*

Happy WW. I just now got online, darn Comcast has been OFF all day!! Ugh.

  6. Very sweet! You know, I almost posted a picture of my dad this week, too, but went with something else instead. I almost wish I had now…..but will save it for another Wednesday.

  7. Last Father’s Day (2005), we had a casual picture taken with me, my siblings and my dad; we “knew” he was in decline and it was important to get together. Little did we know, he’d have a catastophic reaction to a drug he was given and be rendered bed-ridden in November. At the time, he was given six months to live; now, it appears his body is healthy (for a 75 year old), but his mind is…gone. He talks constantly, but says nothing for the most part. He perhaps “knows” us, but it’s in a very diminished capacity.

I’m VERY thankful for the pictures we took that day :).

It’s important to take pictures every time you have opportunity to with your aging parents; I’m thankful you had this one to share.
