Light to the World

I never saw myself as a ‘Light to the World’ until today. Although I felt like crawling back to bed after a rough night (bad dreams – but that is a story for another post), I got ready for work and stopped at my favorite bakery to pick up breakfast. Jeanine smiled at me and said:”I always like it when you are my first customer. You face is always bright and shiny, and you always smile”. Oh, that was just so sweet – little did she know that she just turned my day around. Later in the morning I made a deposit and Michelle at the drive-thru told me that it always makes her happy when I come through. She said that she likes to hear my voice, because it always sounds friendly…Wow…
You know, even if we don’t feel like being all cheery and happy, God will work through us to make other people happy. He is just that amazing.
