“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
~ Philippians 4:4-6 (ESV ~ emphasis mine)
I have mentioned it often this year…”I am glad when this year is over”…No, I am not going to whine again, but this year has been something else…
If you have ‘applied’ to be on the Laced with Grace Blogroll, please be patient — I am not ignoring your messages. The service I have been using over the last two years (Blogrolling.com) has been down since October 17th. Although it is still displaying our blogroll at LWG, I can not edit/or add any new blogs.
What does this mean? I have to start from scratch 😥 …I can not even access our account to download the blogroll…So, now I am adding every single blog manually to our ‘inside’ blogroll. No more outside stuff. Thanks to Laurel, I have a plugin that will help me add the blogroll to the sidebar. It will look a little different, but I think it will be better in the long-run.
You know, sometimes I feel like giving up, but Philippians reminds me that I should rejoice…And rejoicing I am. You see, now I can go through our 200+ blogs on the blogroll and remove any that are ‘dead-links’ 😛 …
Thanks for listen, and especially your patience…
Hey Iris, I totally understand the frustrations of the internet. I spose it seems even worse, because we expect the internet and all it contains to be perfect. And it’s not., obviously. Our only hope and stability is REJOICING and standing on the Solid Rock of Jesus Christ! Be at peace my dear sister….even in the midst of trials, we can be at peace. What else can we do? Thanks for all your work with cyberspace to be a blessing to all of us. Have a peaceful day full of rejoicing in Jesus. Bless you, Mary
Wow – that really stinks that you have to do all of that…but just think how each blog name will be fresh on your mind! 🙂 -Blessings, Laurie
Maybe the Lord allowed this to happen to refresh your memory on how many receive God’s word. Hugs.
Iris—bless your precious heart…I do hope you can remember…(actually–I’ve been praying that very prayer much lately! If I can help…let me know!
It’s no fun having to do something again that you have already done. I hope it goes smoothly for you.
Bless you dear.
