“Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!”
~ Psalm 100:3-4 (ESV)
Today I came across Psalm 100. What a powerful Psalm!!! No matter what happens today, tomorrow, or the next day; we know we belong to Him – the God who made us. Some people might tell you “How can you believe Him…”? I have to say that when looking back at my life, I know He was there at all times. Even when I was sad of things not coming true, I know that it was all for a reason. He knows what is best for me – I can trust His judgment…
Today, I just want to share a short list of random things I am thankful for…just marveling at the little things of life…
- Lord, thank You for your faithfulness. It is good to know that I belong to You, that You will never let go. I know that sometimes I do not understand the reason for things happening or not happening, but I know that I can trust You…
- I am thankful for my beloved. Lately I have been tired a lot due to over-load at work. He understands. He loves, he hugs, he comforts…He told me last night that “as long as you love me, all is good…” – Oh do I love him, but I also respect him for who he is in our relationship…
- I am thankful for the Saturday we spent with our son a couple of weekends ago. It was so nice to just hang out with him. I am thankful for his independence…
- I am thankful for the email I received from my sister last night. It is nice to know that I am missed by my family in Germany…I miss them just as much…
- Last, but not least I am thankful that I am almost done with recreating the LWG blogroll. Like Mary said on my post from Monday “…because we expect the internet and all it contains to be perfect. And it’s not, obviously.”…oh so true…
What are you thankful for this week? Please do share with us by leaving your link below…
Thank you for stopping by today…Remember: You are His people – no matter what happens – we are His sheep on His pasture…
