What Sting My Heart is thankful for this week

“Guard my life and rescue me;
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.” ~ Psalm 25:20

  • I am thankful for new life in Him. That I always find new nuggets in His word.
  • I am thankful for friends I can count on, who do not judge me for who I am.
  • I am thankful for opportunities to grow through challenges in daily life.
  • I am thankful for that I am able to talk to my mom once a week. Although I truly miss talking to her in person.
  • I am thankful for my Sweetheart, that he forgives me for all my short-comings.

What are you thankful for this week?

Remember to take a break from every day life once in a while. Do what delights your heart. Be a Mary in a Martha’s world. Sit at His feet and just listen to His voice. Or scrapbook, take photos, read a book, knit ~ what ever tickles your fancy to refresh yourself. As I said it before. If we are not balanced, our families are not balanced. Have a blessed day in the Lord…

  2. You are right. I badly need balance. Now that I only have one month left to prepare for Keira’s arrival, I am still working like I always have. I am so much like Martha, really. Thanks for reminding me to take on Mary’s role and to not fret over everything to enjoy His presence and the silent moments that I cherish with my baby inside 🙂

    Lovely thankfuls list…. mine are up too 🙂 God bless…

  4. I am thankful for my wonderful family. I am thankful for my wonderful true friends, for the life God has given me, and for the love he has bestowed on us. I am thankful for all the wonderful friends I have made through my blog. 🙂

  5. A terrific reminder to take a “Sabbath rest” on a regular basis. I tend to be a Mary by nature… a little more studious instead of practical. As usual, I was up late last night reading a new book, and now I’m tired!!!

    Your question: I’m thankful it’s still summer. I love the sunshine. Up here in the PNW, the world can be gloomy in the rain!

  6. I’m also thankful for a lot of things – life is never as bad as it looks but there’s always room for improvement! My hubby is almost finished the basement… we’ll have our own space in the house we share with his dad!!! YYIIPPEE!!

  7. I’m thankful for the family He has given me. I met a woman today who’s 20 yr old daughter was committed. Her story made my little miffs and tiffs over my 20 yr old daughter pale…completely! So I am thankful and prayerful at the same time.
    Great post and welcome reminder.
