At first I wanted to share with you my big, soft, comfy chair, but I decided to think out-side the box once again 😀
Don’t those clouds looks like soft cotton balls? I took this picture last July at the Superstition Mountains. I just love it out there…There is so much to see. You probably thought that Arizona is flat. Well, it is not. We have quite the mountains around the Valley of the Sun…You might like it here in the spring, fall and winter. Not so sure about the summer. Even after 16 years, I have a hard time during the summer.
***Up-Date***Maybe my IP is banned from TypePad blogs, but since Thursday afternoon, I can no longer leave comments on my TpyePad friend’s blogs. I know some of you can…Does anyone experience the same problems?
Have a wonderful weekend…
Those clods do look soft and fluffy!
I never thought of it, but I guess I wouldn’t have thought about Arizona having mountains. Nice shot!
Pretty cool theme.
Mine is up too.
We are moving to AZ next week to be closer to the tranplant center. Woohoo!
Those clouds do look so soft. Great photo.
Very creative photo! I love how the fluffy clouds contrast with the roughness of the cacti.
Wow those clouds are amazing! The whole scene is quite beautiful! One of the weeks Ill get to thinking out of the box! Mine’s up!
Yes those clouds do look like huge cotton balls. Great idea for this weeks theme.
Creative idea for soft and with the way you took the picture it definitely fits the theme well.
🙂
Beautiful photo! 🙂
What a nice take on the theme and they certainly do look soft! I love looking at clouds – from both sides to borrow a line from the song!
When I was in college in Oklahoma our Biology department took a field trip over spring break… we camped out in the Sonora Mountains in Arizona. It was great. Professors and students went. The Nazarene churches opened their gyms and members opened their homes so we could bathe in the middle of the week… it was cold and I wore two windbreakers and a wool pea jacket the whole time. It was and is a great memory of time past. Love the clouds.
Clouds are a great choice for soft!!
Beautiful and soft. I always feel like you could just lay on this clouds. Unfortunately they are not that safe. Happy weekend.
Nice shot! I was amazed to see so many mountains in the Valley of the Sun… they look like cool giant rocks. I remember one was called Camelback, right?
I love to watch soft cotton clouds. It’s fun to think what they look like. Great idea for this week.
Have a great weekend.
I am not sure if they look soft, but they are very beautiful. Why is it not nice there in summer ? Too hot ?
Simply beautiful!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Those clouds certainly look very soft!! nice take on the theme, happy saturday, Iris!:)
Wow – great photo!! And yes, the clouds do look like cotton!
Lovely–I remember the rugged beauty of Arizona on our recent drive across country.
Nice “soft”.
Love the big soft fluffy clouds and they most definitely look like big soft cotton balls! That is such a great take on the theme! Love it! 🙂
Very clever, Iris. Those clouds do look soft. Great share.
Lovely clouds… I wish I could just lie on one and drift around the sky.
Everyone that doesn’t KNOW the desert, ones that have not lived there, think the desert is harsh, dry and hot….there are SO MANY soft, beautiful colors and a whole world here in AZ!!! Gorgeous. Looks like somewhere by the Superstition Mtns…or Apache Junction.
My little SOFT bunny is posted for the week’s theme.
Great shot, Iris! The clouds do look soft and for some reason, make me
very, v-e-r-y sleepy.
Beautiful soft clouds! That’s a great photo. 🙂

Pretty clouds!
Great idea! They do look soft and fluffy.
Nice picture. I especially like the way the soft clouds are juxtaposed against the obviously not soft Arizona landscape.
That is a beautiful picture. I just joined photo hunt today after looking at your picture. Have a great day!
It’s like you could almost touch them!
Mine’s up too 🙂
It’s a wonderful photo. I bet there is great legend about the name Superstition Mountain. They are majestic.
Iris, I guarantee you that I didn’t ban your address from my Typepad blog. Hard telling what is up with that. Great photo of those fluffy clouds!
So soft indeed!! Have a great weekend!
What a beautiful photo. I thought about posting one like that too. But I chose something different.
Magnificent photo. As a child, I loved daydreaming about going to the sky and sleeping on the clouds. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Hi Iris! My blog has been unusually quiet since Thursday, and then I started getting emails about not being able to comment. Yes, Typepad is “having issues” at the moment, and is scheduled to go off-line Monday night for maintenance and a big upgrade. That should set things straight.

P.S. I love this picture!
Oh wow, this picture is absolutely breathtaking – beautiful. What an awesome creator we have!!
Your blog looks lovely, I can’t wait to look around more! I finally have my “soft” picture posted too!
Beautiful photo. Must have been amazing in person. The clouds certainly do look soft and fluffy. Southwestern skies are the best! Perfect choice for The Hunt.
Love it, I couldn’t think of anything soft, yet I have a photo similar to that one 🙂
Nice phot of the clouds, and nice beautiful view, my phot hunt is up.
Miss Pink
Ah, those clouds are lovely. My husband loves looking at the clouds and photographing them. I’ve been to Flagstaff, AZ and the mountains there are beautiful!
