Soft

At first I wanted to share with you my big, soft, comfy chair, but I decided to think out-side the box once again 😀

Don’t those clouds looks like soft cotton balls? I took this picture last July at the Superstition Mountains. I just love it out there…There is so much to see. You probably thought that Arizona is flat. Well, it is not. We have quite the mountains around the Valley of the Sun…You might like it here in the spring, fall and winter. Not so sure about the summer. Even after 16 years, I have a hard time during the summer.

***Up-Date***Maybe my IP is banned from TypePad blogs, but since Thursday afternoon, I can no longer leave comments on my TpyePad friend’s blogs. I know some of you can…Does anyone experience the same problems?

Have a wonderful weekend…

  1. When I was in college in Oklahoma our Biology department took a field trip over spring break… we camped out in the Sonora Mountains in Arizona. It was great. Professors and students went. The Nazarene churches opened their gyms and members opened their homes so we could bathe in the middle of the week… it was cold and I wore two windbreakers and a wool pea jacket the whole time. It was and is a great memory of time past. Love the clouds.

  2. Nice shot! I was amazed to see so many mountains in the Valley of the Sun… they look like cool giant rocks. I remember one was called Camelback, right?

  3. Everyone that doesn’t KNOW the desert, ones that have not lived there, think the desert is harsh, dry and hot….there are SO MANY soft, beautiful colors and a whole world here in AZ!!! Gorgeous. Looks like somewhere by the Superstition Mtns…or Apache Junction.

My little SOFT bunny is posted for the week’s theme.

  4. Hi Iris! My blog has been unusually quiet since Thursday, and then I started getting emails about not being able to comment. Yes, Typepad is “having issues” at the moment, and is scheduled to go off-line Monday night for maintenance and a big upgrade. That should set things straight.

Your blog looks lovely, I can’t wait to look around more! I finally have my “soft” picture posted too!

  6. Ah, those clouds are lovely. My husband loves looking at the clouds and photographing them. I’ve been to Flagstaff, AZ and the mountains there are beautiful!
