For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. ~ Romans 1:11-12 (NLT)

Sting My Heart Award

I really have been blessed by God with the women He has surrounded me with here in Bloggyland. Some of my readers have become dear friends as well. Yeah, I know, most of them I have not met IRL (except one), but I know that we would hit it off if we would meet this side of heaven. It would be no different with this month’s recipient…

She is not only an encouragement to me, but to many others on the Internet, especially to the ones that are seeking to adopt. She has some wonderful resources for parents who are willing to adopt. When I visit Thankful Thursday participants, she usually already left an encouraging comment…And she writes once a month for LWG to give me a little breather…

Terri, you truly have been an encourager to me and many others. I pray that your son will recover quickly from his accident and you will find rest while you are caring for him. And no, I am not sending the encouragement award your way because of the gift, but because what you have said to me: “You’ve been an amazing friend to me in such a short period of time but more importantly you really bless me. You really inspire me to be in God’s Word more and be true to Him on a daily basis.” (emphasis mine) I am humbled to know that God is using my feeble attempts to draw others into a closer relationship with Him…Terri, I hope you accept my little award ~ Be blessed today and always! And maybe God will allow us to meet this side of heaven

I know that most of us receive encouragement from our families & friends, but they see us everyday, and often they(we) just don’t take the time to speak those few words to uplift and encourage. For those things, I thank you!

  9. A perfect choice! I “met” Terri through the 5MFM blog party (I think). I must stop by her place again and say hello. I’ve enjoyed catching up with you here. I loved the LO of you and your Mom. You both look so young!

Some sad news in the family has made me MIA lately… my step-Mom passed away last weekend. Not unexpected, and my Dad is doing quite well, PTL.

I love your thankful attitude above… always uplifting! Hugs.
