Treasure Tuesday – Kinkade

Kinkade Print
I know, I know. Not the best picture I have taken. The problem is that I don’t have it hung yet. Because it will hang in my new and improved guest bedroom/computer room.Today’s treasure I received not that long ago. I was a good-bye gift from my previous co-workers. Aren’t they sweet? You see, Thomas Kinkade’s paintings are my favorite. Of course this is just a print, but none the less precious to me. I have several of his prints as a jigsaw-puzzle (I should have mentioned that yesterday that I relax doing jigsaw-puzzles :???:). Have you ever seen his prints/paintings. They are beautiful. What makes this parting gift extra special is that on the right hand side is a verse from John 14:1-4, 6:

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going. Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'”.

Isn’t that awesome? We can trust God with our salvation; we just have to accept that free gift. He is preparing a room for us, for you and me – Hallelujah! Have a blessed day.

  1. Oh, I so love Kinkade’s paintings. They are gorgeous. And the verse, such a beautiful promise. What a lovely treasure. My Treasure is up.

  2. That is awesome indeed!! God is good.

I love Kinkade also.. We actually have one of his art galleries here on the boardwalk near me. I could look at his work all day. Simply beautiful and so peaceful.

  3. I love jigsaw puzzles also. Don’t do many because the cats enjoy them too much! But on summer vacation it is tradition to have one to do. The photo is nice. But the quote makes it all the better. Pictures like this make it easy to envision heaven! Thanks for the share.

  4. I LOVE Kincaid pictures! For a while we were attending a church in CA that had HUGE paintings personally donated by him. I mean, they were floor to ceiling pictures, amazing.

    Very nice treasure! 😉

  5. Oh, I LOVE Thomas Kinkade!! I have bookmarks, journals, address books, notepaper, cards, and calendars with his art. Haven’t been able to afford a nice print yet–but soon. A friend gave me his book, Lightpost for Living–very creative reflections on living a life of joy.
