Before the Throne…

There are many things we do not understand this side of heaven…At least I don’t. I ask you to please pray for Canon’s family as they are mourning the loss of this precious boy…

Canon

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” ~ Psalm 23 (ESV)

Laced with Grace Launching…

LWG Button_1

Yes, I can not believe it, but the launch of Laced with Grace is happing tomorrow. I just want to invite my readers to stop by this up-coming week. We have a fixed rotation (I know it sounds like an oxymoron – but is really not) of the team members. The Team-Blog consists of 5 women who will write during the week and two women who will write on the Sundays “Inspirational Thoughts”.

I like to introduce you to the team, their respective Blogs and their scheduled days on Laced with Grace:

We hope that you will find Laced with Grace a place of encouragement. We pray that we will glorify Him with our writings and that we will be a blessing to the Blogging community. We humbly ask to support Laced with Grace with your prayers. Darlene from CWO Ezine and Amy from The 160 Acre Woods created wonderful buttons for us, so you may display a link to Laced with Grace on your Sidebar. You can find them on LWG in the Sidebar under ‘Support‘. And for our readers convenience, we added subscribe buttons for Bloglines and email. If there are any other things you would like to see on Laced with Grace, please do let us know. We are ready to serve Him and you…

Up-Date: Please pray for one of our team-members and her family. CJ’s little girl is in the hostipal right now and we are not certain yet when she will be returning home…Please pray for healing and comfort ~ Thank you.

“Lord of Heaven and Earth. You are the Comforter of all who turn to You. Lord, mold us, use us for Your purpose alone. Help us every step of the way to follow Your holy calling to encourage who comes in contact with us. We are trusting in Your mercy and grace. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.”

The Race is On…

Pink Ribbon

I am sure you know of someone close to you who had/has breast cancer. I have two wonderful friends and one aunt who underwent the treatment and are survivors. I celebrated with Carol B, Carol P and my aunt Elke their breast cancer survival.

October is Breast Cancer awareness month around the world and a lot of major cities in the US host “Race for the Cure”. If you can not get personally down to the race to walk or run, I encourage you today to sponsor someone who races. There are many Websites about breast cancer and cancer survival, there is one official site ~ The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Please take a moment this weekend to find out how you can get involved, either through walking, running, sponsoring or donating. The official Website is also a great resource for patients and family members.

Dear Lord, I want to lift up all the survivors of breast cancer to You today. Give them strength for the days to come. Give them the comfort that You will see them through the times of struggle. Lord, I also want to lift up the families who have lost loved ones through this decease. I am trusting in Your mercy and pray in the precious name of my Lord & Savior, I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
