I have many different Bibles, but my favorite translation is the ESV Bible. I like to have different translations so I could compare text passages 🙂 .

That was perfect, Iris. I prefer the ESV, too, but I read the NIV and NASB, as well, and appreciate comparing all the different versions. I hope you will hvae time to stop by the creek to see what is different there….and that your weekend is delightful.

I didn’t think about it but I have many, too. Perfect idea!
I love comparing translations, too, but I still read in the NIV the most because that’s what I’ve memorized in. It’s nice to be able to read along and say it in your head at the same time.
My daughters are memorizing now in the NIV too because it seems like the most standard, but my 13-year-old likes reading the ESV.
Thank goodness our biggest problem is what translation to choose, rather than not having access to a Bible at all! How blessed we are.
