  1. Excellent shot while going down the road!! Well done and perfect for the row theme! =) I am glad you didn’t drop your camera – I always think of that when hangin’ out a window to take a picture LOL

  2. Nice photo! I can understand your apprehension towards losing your camera. I was in a bus yesterday and started taking photos I even have to open a window just to shoot. I don’t know if passengers noticed the warm air. I told myself the same. It could get crashed. 🙂

  3. I love looking at rows of trees when we go out of town. They keep me awake during long trips. Nice to look at like what you have in this photo.

  4. Oh, we do have sceneries like that in Malaysia too, and it’s a challenge to keep the roads so clean, huh? 🙂

It’s mi first time here and I love the hearts!! 🙂

  5. Iris, those trees are great! Looks like Flagstaff 🙂 Great picture for today.

BTW, when you asked about Beth on the TT post – she is on Wed w/ Beth on Life Today (james robinson) – every Wednesday 🙂 Its only about 18 minutes or so of her teaching, but usually pretty good and continued for a few weeks.

    have a great weekend.

  6. Hi Iris,
Hope you’re having a lovely saturday. Great picture. You did a good job at 80 miles per hour!! I’m glad to know we aren’t the only ones cruising down the highway rather speedily 🙂

  7. I found your blog over at Little Red Hearts for God, Connie ‘s blog !
This is a very nice blog site and I will visit again!!
You had a great shot for the Photo Hunt!! Grams

  8. After reading that the cool weather doesn’t come for you until the end of September, I just had to check out your “About Me”. And sure enough, you ARE from Arizona. While living here for 30 years, we’ve learned to deal with the heat by getting out of town and heading to Flagstaff for scenes such as the one you posted here. Great photo.

  9. you know what? I thought of doing the same thing when my sweetie was driving Friday and we went by rows and rows of pines! But I was not scared of the camera (it was around my neck) but of bugs!! We don’t have the fast roads you have (50 mph is our limit) but the bugs still can get you!

    Great shot: no blurs.

  10. I have done that before — glad youa re ok as it isn’t safe doing it. lol (Who am I to talk!)

Come see mine if you haven’t made it there yet..

  11. Great photo. I’m also glad you didn’t lose the camera! Then we wouldn’t be able to enjoy your wonderful photos with the scrap effects.

BTW, a colleague sold me special protective boxes in which to store my photos and is trying to convince me to try digi-scrapping! EEK! It looks like fun . . . but I already don’t have enough hours in the day!

  12. WOW! I hope you don’t do that again. . . good photos can also be shot sometimes through the window. Be careful.

Come see mine if you ahven’t already.

  13. I love road pictures too! This is beautiful!
I often imagine the horrible thought of losing the grip on my camera and off it flies behind me on the road while going 65 miles an hour – yikes!
Ah the risks we take… So I make sure that camera strap is well tight around my wrist:)

  14. Iris,

Great photo as well. I am heading the LV this week…. Hot… I will think of you while I am there and the perspiration, I mean, sweat is pouring off my face.

    L&H, me
