Thankful Thursday: What Sting My Heart is thankful for this week
- I am thankful for the storms in my life. You know why? Because that brings me closer to my God. As I was reading my devotions this morning I was reminded that although the storms might be though to go through, God is there to protect me.
- I am thankful for being part of the blog Bible study – Living Beyond Yourself. It brings me closer to women from all different walks of life and different denominations. It teaches me that we are all ONE in Christ. Sure, we all have our struggles, but we have ONE hope – HIS hope.
- I am thankful for my Sweetheart, who encourages me on a daily basis. He loves me no matter what. He makes me laugh – he just hangs out with me.
- I am thankful for a working coffee maker – otherwise I would be sitting here like a big dah-head :grin:.
- I am thankful for the simple pleasures in life that make me realize that God blesses me richly on a daily basis. Thank you Beckie for the reminder that we don’t have to reach for the stars.

Great list. I am reading a book by Michael Card called “A Sacred Sorrow” that speaks too of how the valleys of our lives ARE God’s love and do bring us closer to Him. Sometimes hard to understand, but He sure is with us.

If I went pregnant, i’d be thankful for fresh brewed coffee too. But since I can’t have any, I’m thankful the ice cold fraps and ice blended drinks from Starbucks, Seattle’s Best and Coffee Bean!
