Tackle It Banner

…Ladies, I have been really exhausted tonight. I slept for an hour on the sofa and am still tired. It is 11:05pm and yours truly did not do a project. I am sorry Janice…*sigh*. The summer heat is kicking really my bones this year.

But I can say that I finally took the two bags of clothing I packed in last week’s project to the cloth-recycling bin (yeah, only drove around with them for a week ~ that is a an accomplishment in itself). So does that count as my project for this week?

Okay, so for the picture with week. I decided to hang pictures on my wall, instead of painting the walls in the bedroom. One is already up:

Desert Picture

I am still thinking about the big one over the bed…I am having a really hard time deciding what to hang there. I have so many landscape pictures that it is hard to pick a favorite. I hope I can make up my mind soon. Our bedroom still needs a couple of touches to be complete, but as mentioned, I ran out of money to buy the bigger things. So, stay tuned for the completed bedroom…

Want to visit women who really get the job done and have projects worth while, visit Janice at 5 Minutes for Mom…and hopefully next week I have more accomplished than this week…

  1. I really like that photo and think it was a great pick. Don’t beat yourself up for not doing any other projects – I think taking the clothes was plenty =)

Good morning! Hope you have a nice Tuesday.

  2. *SMILE* you sound like me! 🙂 This summer and being sick is kicking my butt too! But hey, LOVE the picture and WOOT on getting the cloths to the recycling bin!!! That IS a tackle; our recycle is 45 minutes away! ICKY

  3. always happy to hear there are other “bag” ladies out there besides myself…there are two in my trunk as I write :)…take care and rejuvenate yourself…I love your photos by the way…always reminds me of the short but wonderful time we lived in AZ…thanks for the inspiration on my post….it’s funny how we have it perfect in our heads and then we doubt it when we see it in writing….it certainly did make sense to me once it made it out of your head 🙂 Take that Siesta!!!

  4. Girl – you dropped off clothes AND hung pcitures! that totally counts! 🙂

You are so awesome for participating! 🙂

LOVE the photo – great job! You have got some great landscaping to shoot down in Arizona.

  5. I really like your picture! I have been working on my door bed panel that will go just above the bed on the wall. It will sort of be like a quilt pattern but with very close shades of green as the wall. I have 3 really nice pictures on one wall, 2 which my son drew in high school. But I still need to work on the curtains. We will have to do a full room reveal when we get done!

  6. I love your cactus. I’m sorting through 5 years photos today! Some in albums… some to frame. All my beautiful AZ pics look silly up here in the evergreen NW, but I plan to frame a few anyway!
